9th IMGA-NIGERIA

The IMGA Nigerian Chapter on Medical Geology will be celebrating the 1st African Regional Conference and Exhibitions on Medical Geology the week of July 26th – 31st, 2026.

This conference has been developed under the auspices of the International Medical Geology Association (IMGA), the International Environmental and Health Sciences Consortium (IEHSC), Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), Nigeria, and the Nigerian Mining & Geosciences Society (NMGS), and it is aimed at providing a forum to the most recent advances in medical geology and public health in Africa, with particular emphasis on sustainability approaches for the creation of resilient community systems. The conference will be hosted by NSUK and its newly established Jose A. Centeno International Center for Medical Geology Research (JACMEDGEO).
