This unique series of student conferences began in 2021 with its inaugural edition hosted in Latin America, followed by a dedicated African edition in 2022, and European-focused conference in 2024. Each event successfully brought together students, early-career researchers, and global experts, offering a vibrant platform to share research, ideas, and collaborative opportunities across continents.
The South-Asian edition of the 4th International Student Conference on Medical Geology and Environmental Health (ISCMGEH) 2025 is a virtual event focused on empowering the next generation of scientists in understanding the intersection of Earth’s processes and human health.

On behalf of the Organizers of the 6th International Conference on Atmospheric Dust (DUST 2025), we are inviting researchers, professionals, and students to submit abstracts for what promises to be an outstanding gathering of experts in the field of dust science research. The conference will take place in the beautiful city of Bari, Italy, from 1 to 4 of July 2025, and will showcase cutting-edge research across five thematic areas:
Conference Themes and Sessions
AM – Technological Advances in Dust Observation and Modelling
Exploring advanced methods such as remote sensing, in-situ measurements, and innovative modelling to enhance our understanding of dust properties and behavior at various scales.
DS – Regional and Specific Dust Sources
Investigating unique regional dust sources like Saharan dust, Asian dust, and volcanic ash, with a focus on their transport, characteristics, localized impacts, and roles as carriers of biological and chemical pollutants.
EC – Environmental and Climate Impacts of Dust
Addressing dust’s role in ecosystems, climate, and biogeochemical cycles, this theme highlights its chemical and physical interactions within the environment and its regulatory effects on the climate.
HE – Health Effects and Human Exposure
Focusing on the health implications of dust and particulate matter, this theme emphasizes innovative methodologies for assessing exposure, toxicity, and health-related metrics.
PT – Atmospheric Processes and Dust Transport
Exploring the dynamics of dust in the atmosphere, including dust storms, transport mechanisms, and deposition processes, using both observational and modelling approaches to capture the complete dust cycle.
The Organizers of DUST 2025 are encouraging submissions that align with these themes to promote interdisciplinary dialogue and advance research in dust science. The abstract submission deadline is 31 March 2025, and details regarding the submission process can be found on the conference website at: https://dust2025.atmodust.net/abstracts/
On behalf of the Organizing Committee of the 11th International Conference on Medical Geology and 13th International Symposium on Environmental Geochemistry (MEDGEO 2025 & ISEG 2025), we would like to extend a warm welcome and invite you to the MEDGEO-25-ISEG Symposium at the University of Aveiro, Portugal during July 27 – August 1, 2025. See details in the attached conference flyer. For additional information, please visit: https://www.ua.pt/pt/medgeo25iseg
This event will be an internationally leading forum for scientists, consultants, and public managers working on environmental geochemistry and health. The conference participants will convey expertise in a range of scientific fields, such as geochemistry, biology, engineering, geology, hydrology, epidemiology, chemistry, medicine, nutrition, and toxicology.
Known as the “Venice of Portugal,” Aveiro is surrounded by salt flats, beaches, and lagoons and is dominated by the Central Canal, which runs throughout the city. Once a big seaport, Aveiro lies in mountains and fertile lagoon plains.
The conference venue is the campus of Aveiro University, near the city centre. The University of Aveiro organizes the conference, supported by the AAG-Association of Applied Geochemists, IAGC-International Association of Geochemistry, the SEGH-Society of Environmental Geochemistry and Health, and the IMGA-International Medical Geology Association.
Your presence and active participation will guarantee the symposium’s success, which is a unique opportunity to share knowledge with colleagues worldwide.
We look forward to welcoming you to Aveiro in 2025!
