Dr. Jianxun Qin

Dr. Jianxun Qin serves as the Director of the Geochemistry Institute at the Guangxi Geological Survey and holds the position of Office Director at the Guangxi Medical Geology Engineering Research Center. His research focuses on medical geology, environmental geochemistry, and applied geochemistry. In recent years, he has concentrated on studying the genesis mechanisms and ecological effects of selenium and heavy metal elements in soils with high geological backgrounds in Guangxi. He is dedicated to addressing region-specific environmental and health issues in the area, promoting interdisciplinary medical geology research initiatives, and deepening applied studies in fields such as environmental health, disease mechanisms, development of authentic medicinal materials, and health geology.
