Dr. Lucie Sauzéat
Lucie Sauzéat is a geologist by training specialized in isotope geochemistry. Her research is focused on the quantification of chemical and isotopic variabilities in various samples (from geogenic materials to organic tissues) in order to better understand a range of geological, environmental and biological processes. This diversity in research, from the deep Earth to the living organisms, allowed her to acquire interdisciplinary knowledge and to develop robust skills in isotope geochemistry and, more recently, in the still-emerging field of isotope metallomics. At the interface of human health and environmental chemistry, her current research interests focus on the health hazard of volcanic ash and are deeply integrated in a sustainable science approach.
