Education Background
Alumni of Kunming University of Science and Technology & University of Massachusetts, USA
Research Focus
Dr. Wang is an environmental geochemist specializing in the interfacial chemical processes of soil and groundwater pollution and their environmental health implications. His work centers on two core themes:
(1) Exploring the non-ideal interfacial behaviors of organic pollutants in groundwater, particularly the migration dynamics of emerging contaminants, organic matter and microorganisms at the NAPL-water interface, to unravel cross-medium migration mechanisms between soil and groundwater.
(2) Investigating the formation and stabilization mechanisms of PFRs during organic compound transformation at soil-mineral interfaces, as well as the reaction pathways of PFR coupling to form low-molecular-weight polymeric products and their associated environmental health effects.
