Prof. Jian Zhao

Jian Zhao is currently a full professor in Ocean University of China. He received his PhD degree from Ocean University of China in 2011, and did research work as a postdoctoral fellow at University of Massachusetts Amherst during 2012-2014. His current research interests focus on the detection of emerging contaminants in natural waters, environmental geochemical processes of microplastics, and ecological impacts of microplastics and nanoplastics in marine environments. He has published more than 100 papers in international journals, and serves as an associate editor for three journals.
