Prof. Xinyu Wang

Xinyu Wang is a biogeochemist mainly focused on the fate/speciation of major/trace metals and organic pollutants in the aquatic environment, employing techniques including geochemical modeling and experimental analysis. He is also a researcher of State Key Laboratory of Oil and Gas Reservoir Geology and Exploitation, ‌and Key Laboratory of Collaborative Control and Joint Remediation of Soil and Water Pollution in National Environmental Protection. He has fifteen years’ experience in investigating the migration and transformation of heavy metal and organic pollutants in the environment, which is fundamental for further environmental remediation and assessment for human health.
