Dr. Xiongwei Zheng

Dr. Zheng is a senior engineer at the Hubei Provincial Key Laboratory of Geoscience and Environment for Resources, China, specializing in GeoHealth and eco-environmental geochemistry survey. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Resources Exploration Engineering from Yangtze University, a Master’s degree in Mineral Prospecting and Exploration from China University of Geosciences (Beijing), and a Doctorate in Mineral Resources Prospecting and Exploration from Yangtze University. His research mainly focuses on: 1) GeoHealth survey in longevity areas and studies their migration, transformation, and risk assessment; 2) Land quality survey and the transformation application of survey results. Dr. Zheng has hosted five provincial-level scientific research projects and is currently a core member of the healthy geological survey work in Hubei region. He has published more than 30 professional and technical papers in academic journals such as SCI and Chinese core journals (20 of are the first author), obtained 5 national invention patents, published 5 monographs, and obtained more than 15 awards at the bureau level and above, including one prize in scientific and technological progress of Hubei Province.
