Dr. Yangyang Wu
Yangyang Wu is the Secretary of the One Health Working Group. He earned his Ph.D. in Environmental Science and Engineering from Nanjing University in 2025 and is currently pursuing a joint Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. His research investigates the toxicological and health impacts of environmental pollution, with a particular focus on vulnerable populations and environmental inequities. His work examines how air pollution affects children and other sensitive groups across diverse physical and social contexts, seeking to elucidate the biological mechanisms underlying pollutant toxicity. He previously conducted research as a visiting scholar at the University of California, Davis, where he received training in the development of a real-time air pollution exposure system and animal experiment.
