Dr. Yujia Huang
Yujia Huang is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Nanjing Medical University. Her research focuses on the intersection of public health, environmental science, and geography. She focuses on the health impacts of compound exposures that arise from the interaction between climate change and air pollution. Her work also explores how spatial, ecological, urban, and social environmental factors contribute to differences in population health risks.
Yujia earned her Ph.D. in Environmental Science and Engineering from Nanjing University. During her doctoral studies, she received a scholarship from the China Scholarship Council to undertake an 18-month joint training program at Monash University, Australia. There, she received systematic training in public health and environmental epidemiology. Her interdisciplinary background allows her to integrate environmental data, epidemiological research, and spatial analysis to address complex environmental health challenges under a changing climate.
