Prof. Bin He
Professor HE Bin is a Distinguished Professor at Ningbo University. He also serves as the Director of the Institute of One Health Science. His research focuses on ecological environment and One Health. He primarily investigates the hydro-biogeochemical coupling mechanisms governing the control of critical element pollution under the influence of human activities. His work focuses on the monitoring, modeling, and control of watershed non-point source pollution. Professor He earned his B.E., M.E., and first Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Wuhan University, and a second Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from Ehime University, Japan. His academic career includes positions as a Postdoctoral Fellow and Assistant Professor at the University of Tokyo, Associate Professor at Kyoto University, and Researcher at the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
He holds editorial roles, including Associate Editor, for seven international journals, including Geoenvironmental Disasters, and serves as the Chair of the Committee on Environmental Disasters in Waterfront Areas under the International Consortium on Geo-disaster Reduction (ICGdR). To date, Professor HE has published over 170 English-language papers (including more than 120 SCI-indexed papers), authored six books, and filed over 60 international and domestic invention patents and software copyrights.
