Prof. Jin Ling
Dr. Ling Nathanael Jin conducts interdisciplinary research at the nexus of environmental chemistry, microbiology, toxicology, and data science to address urgent planetary health challenges. His work investigates the impacts of air pollution on human health, the effects of marine pollution on wildlife, and the ecological consequences of solid waste, integrating these threads within a One Health framework. He currently serves on the Editorial Board of Environmental Science & Technology. His contributions have been widely recognized: he was named to the American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists’ 2025 “40 Under 40” and received the 2026 James J. Morgan Early Career Award for the Asia–Pacific region. The latter honor is jointly conferred by Environmental Science & Technology, Environmental Science & Technology Letters, and the American Chemical Society’s Division of Environmental Chemistry, underscoring his leadership at the interface of scientific discovery, public health, and environmental stewardship.
