Prof. Tiantian Li

Co-chair

Dr. Tiantian Li is the Deputy Director of the National Institute of Environmental Health at the China CDC. Her work delves into climate change, air pollution and health impacts. She has been honored with the 2024 Distinguished Young Scholar Fund from the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the 2022 China Female Scientist Award from Cell Press. As a first or corresponding author, she has published over a hundred papers in Nature, Lancet, JACC, Circulation, Nature Climate Change, Lancet Public Health, Lancet Planetary Health etc. Additionally, she serves as a member of the Climate Change and Air Pollution Committee of the World Heart Federation, the World Health Organization and World Meteorological Organization Heatwave Health Early Warning Expert Group, and the National Expert Advisory Committee on Environment and Health in China. She also holds leadership roles as the Executive Deputy Director of the Meteorological and Medical Health Key Open Laboratory at the China Meteorological Administration, and Principal Investigator at the National Key Laboratory of Intelligent Tracking and Forecasting for Infectious Diseases.
